Blind Love

She sat staring at the sea

And he sat staring at her

But while his heart marched with glee

For her, neither was he a lover

Nor was he a bother

He tried hard to gain attention

But she chose to ignore

He begged, cried and yelled with passion

For her, neither was he interesting

Nor was he a bore

He lost his temper, he rose

He thanked the girl for being so unkind

Tears filled his eyes, tears filled his nose

Had he waited a little longer, he would have known

The girl was deaf, dumb and blind

Dark Room

I was alone, resting in my dark room

The darkness engulfed me

I was scared, scared of the unknown

The unknown which I couldn't see

The door was locked, locked from the outside

How could I escape?

My past haunted me, hurt my inside

At the hazy future, I gape

The room had terrible creatures, dark & hideous

Lust, Anger, Guilt & Pride

The warmth of innocence was fading

I wanted to run, I wanted to hide

Ah! Finally the door is open

But why isn't there any light?

Has the world changed so much

Or is this a temporary phase of night?
